Back in May we caught a flight to Germany to visit families and friends at home. Despite giving interviews to a local newspaper and TV and radio stations we spent 2 weeks of private time there – sorry, no pictures :-)
On 13th we returned to Bangkok. We picked up our bicycles from our bikesitters Nina and Nico and worked on cleaning, servicing and boxing our bikes during the next couple of days.

1.5 weeks after our return to Thailand we eventually left SEA on a plane to Melbourne.

We spent the first days in Australia with lovely Warmshowers-hosts Lou and Saophorn. Exploring Melbourne with them kept us busy for an extended weekend.

On 27th we left Melbourne, cycled along Mornington Peninsula and reached the famous Great Ocean Road at Torquay. We finished the month in Apollo Bay, approximately 1/3 into the Great Ocean Road.
